How To Use Multiple Gmail Accounts in One Browser

If you regularly need to access different accounts that use the same service in the same browser (e.g., you have multiple Gmail accounts), you know what a pain it can be. Constantly needing to sign out of a work account to sign in to a personal account can cause a lot of friction.

If that sounds familiar, take a look at the Firefox add-on, Multi-Account Containers. This add-on lets you sign in to multiple accounts that use the same service in one browser. At work, I find this extremely helpful for testing and troubleshooting accounts without needing to sign out.

On macOS, Safari is my browser of choice, but I often use Firefox just to take advantage of this add-on. I keep hoping that someone will release a Safari extension with similar capabilities.
