It was super surprising to see Bill Hader playing Han Solo in the new movie. Had no idea. Good job dude.

May 24, 2018

Solo is exactly like it's namesake: jumping head first into hyperspace with the wheels falling off but somehow managing to pull it together to succeed in the end! What a ride!

Against my better judgement, it’s Solo time!

Shucks! DesignFesta 48 is on November 10 and 11 this year. We'll just miss it by a few days :-(

While this article isn't conclusive, it seems that the Google Duplex demo might have been staged.

The demo was damn curious and left me wondering if the folks at Google thought this through before showing it. If it's doesn't actually work as they demoed it, why show it?

So I guess Twitter 3rd party clients will lose a lot of features starting August 16th. If so, I guess I'm quitting Twitter too.

UPS Innovations delivery really sucks for Hawaii residents. UPS took 10 days to deliver the package to USPS. USPS reports it will be another 10 days for delivery to me. 20 days to deliver a 2.30 lbs package from Austin, Texas to Hawaii.

Also, FoldingText 3 was announced. Not sure what the timeline for release will be for this. Currently use FoldingText as an external text editor for nvALT documents.

Tweetbot 3 (Mac) came out today! Looks like a nice update.

Maybe I shouldn’t trust them to realize this is 2018.

Using ad-hoc Apple Classroom and some students are showing as ‘offline’ but you don’t know why? My co-worker just found a 🐜 that is causing it but it’s an easy fix.

Looks like Day One sync is offline. First time since their launch that I've seen an outage.

We have 170 MacBook Pro (13", 2017 w/ Touch Bar) that were deployed in May of last year. Repairs so far: 3 keyboard repairs and 6 complaints that required compressed air in keyboard to fix.

Just throwing that out there for some perspective.

My hope for this month: that the unpredictable rain stops and the sun is out at least 3 consecutive days so I can wash my 🚗 (which would cause the rain to return, of course). Seriously, I really need to wash my car.

💡 I’ll wash my 🚘 the next time it rains.
