Beautiful day in Tachikawa! Lunch and shopping at IKEA since we don’t have one in Hawaii.

I’m starting to think I might want to rethink my travel camera setup. I love my micro 4/3 setup because it’s light, but I’m thinking between my iPhone and a small zoom point and shoot camera, I could get by.

Haven’t been posting much on micro.blog during this trip. Had a frustrating time trying to post photos via Sunlit and it kept crashing for some reason. I took that as my cue to live in the moment and just forget about posting stuff while vacationing.

Utada Hikaru Laughter in the Dark concert was amazing! Never would have dreamed that we’d get a chance to see her perform during our vacation. It was just perfect!

Day 1 Fukuoka

Survived the first full day in Fukuoka. Had Bake cheese tarts, chicken wings, gyoza, and omu rice.

Tomorrow is Utada Hikaru concert day!

Flew from Haneda to Fukuoka today and have been on the go ever since. Still trying to adjust to this time zone. My body woke up at 4am as normal but that was way too little sleep. Walking zombie right now.

Interesting iOS 12 bug on the iPad Pro 11” that was on display at the Apple Store.

Seems like the EDU channel gets the short end of the stick when it comes to ordering new Apple products. Shipping is always delayed 2-3 weeks while retail/consumer channel gets them now.

Thinking about getting a Flickr Pro account for photo storage and sharing. Will also rethink strategies for using Apple Photos as well…
