I thought I fixed the issue with Messages app alerts not showing up on my Apple Watch. I was wrong. Had to sign out of macOS Messages to get it working again. Seems like something is broken but I can’t tell if it’s iOS or macOS.

macOS Ventura 13.2.1 has various apps that keep asking for accessibility or other permissions on reboot. To fix it, try restarting your Mac again. It seems to fix the issue, although I have no idea why.

Hmmm. Did Ventura 13.2.1 break Messages notifications to Apple Watch? I have to sign out of macOS Messages in order to get Messages notifications on the watch to appear. Can confirm that signing back in on macOS breaks it. Anyone else see this?

I keep forgetting that cross-posted micro.blog content with more than one link never really works out.
I just wrote about 1Password's Passkeys Directory and wondered when 1Password would announce passkey support. The feature is coming this summer as they explain in this blog post.

I (was forced) to migrate to Ventura. All of my notifications were stuck in Notification Center and I didn't know why. If you use an ext. display, turn this setting on and your notifications will appear. Not sure why this is setting is default off.

Looks like movetodon.org isn't going to come back before Twitter kills free access to the API. The pettiness of this is over the top, but ¯\(ツ)/¯. Twitter doesn't belong to us.

With the closing of Twitter's free API, so many useful services that use it will cease to function unless they pay for access. If cross-posting stops functioning, not sure what I'll do.
